Thanks. Sorry I did not mean to waste anyone's time. I did do initial research and read some posts on Tadatsuna knives...and I found a couple of inconsistency with the first and last Kanji on the knife. I just want to confirm my suspicion with an expert's opinion. I was told that NBTHK paper would cost $1000 to $1500 more...another source of suspicion. Best, Karl

Hi, I stumbled onto this board and like to learn about Nihonto. I'd like to ask expert's opinions on the attached katana; It is supposed to be by Ikkanshi Tadatsuna...but can't tell it's fake or authentic as a newbie to this world. I am considering to purchase it. Thanks in advance. Best, Karl
