Anyone know what something like this would be worth?

Need better ones let me know. Measures tip to tip 28 inches. Blade is 22 inches and needs polished. Does have some spots on the blade that are discolored.

Is there any way of telling how old it is? And are you saying that someone put a big name on the sword? Its been in the family since my grandfather brought it back from WWII. Anyone know of a translater who could read all of this near the western new york area?

Sword was brought back from WWII, having no luck translating any of it, could someone help? Have other pictures and accessories with sword if someone would be interested in translating. Looks like who ever owned the sword before WWII wanted it back with all the accessories. It has all kinds of info including address and other stuff like that. Thanks for your time.
