Thanks for the info, found some refrences on a Kiyomiya Noguchi (real name: Toru Noguchi) working in Seki about 1935. Also, does anyone know what the painted inscription is on the other side? Once again thanks for the help, this forum is a wealth of information. I'm already planning for my next purchases (NCO sword, and Traditionally made officers sword) I'll need some guidance for the latter.

Just joined the forum and thought a good first post would be to see if anyone could identify my latest purchase. It looks to be arsenal made (non-traditional). Also, not visible in the photo, seems to be a seki stamp but it's hard to read. I collect militaria and am interested in the sword as a piece of history, in other words I'm not under the impression that I've got a "one only super ninja sword" that's worth a million dollars :lol:, just trying to find out a little about it's history.
