I have been asked to try and identify a sword owned by a friend. I have some ideas as to when the sword was made and other general aspects but need help confirming the Kanji on the habaki. Your assistance is appreciated as I will try to acquire the item since he uses it in a most destructive manner. Often as a common machete, the sword needs to be identified and protected.
