Hi Grey, Thanks for your reply and referral to the JSS website. Unfiortunately he's not listed. The blade was forged in 1869 could he have changed his signature after the restoration, was that common practice? Thanks.

Hi, all, I was just wondering if you guys know of a sword smith; Minamoto Masamori who forged swords during the Mieji period, did a database search on him and did'nt find anything? I purchased one of his blades whilst in Japan, nice piece, it came with NBTHK Hozon certificate. Thanks.
