Sorry to hear that myself, do not pay much for it though and it is a nice looking piece. Is there any way to determine age on this sword? Is there any value to a Chinese piece? Thank you Johnnie Watkins

I purchased this sword several years ago and was told it was a ww2 era sword. Since that time someone looked at the markings on the tang and said he thought it may be much older than ww2. Thank you Johnnie Watkins
