Nisei Week 2012 Los Angeles

To All that we saw at the 2012 San Francisco show, a "Thank you" and it really was nice to see everyone at such a great show. This post is just to let anyone who is interested that we (Tetsugendo.com) will be doing our educational display at the annual Nisei week festival on the dates of August 18-19 in the Jaccc. We do this exhibition strickly for the education of Japanese swords for the public, and there are no items for sale. It is my donation back to the community, so that people can appreciate the art of true nihonto. (what actually made me do this exhibition was a very poor display of misrepresented reproduction swords) and my pride as a Japanese American.One of my friends who represents one of the last armor makers in Japan will again allow people that attend to wear the armor and take pictures. We will also display and lecture at the Westcoast Taikai in Anaheim later at the end of this month, we will post the info at a later time.
