They were obliged to prepare some number of swords in correlation to amount of tamahagane they got. Not all blades have shoshin mei so there were more idle hands than actual work in RJT program. RJT smith yet this blade was dated as showa 15/1940/2600th year of Empire est. so before RJT program - example for reference. He had many students etc. so Dai saku mei/Dai mei examples were made for sure. If we had even one RJT contract ... Quote
