Frank101 Posted April 13 Report Posted April 13 I have a katana and a tanto that I am wanting to get fresh polishes and submit to shinsa. Some of the polishers are quoting a year or two to polish a blade. Are there other others to complete these tasks. Also, the tanto is in early IJN officers mounts and I am unable to remove the screw peg (cherry blossom). I tried liquid wrench, but still will not unscrew. It has a good temper line as seen through the surface scratches and a very nice solid silver habachi with mon. Any guidance would be appreciated. Quote
Bruno Posted April 13 Report Posted April 13 Hi Frank, You can contact Chris Bowen, his polisher has in general the poish done in less than a year and he can offer shinsa service. https://www.ejapaneseswords.com/ Quote
