c2tcardin Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 A Shinsakuto I'm looking at was made about 10 years ago so I'm trying to locate additional info on the smith. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Jeff Quote

c2tcardin Posted July 2, 2016 Author Report Posted July 2, 2016 Thanks Joe. I was thinking he was the 3rd son of Kimura Kaneshige. He is the current head of the Akamatsu Taro. I just sold a blade by Kimura Kanehiro who was the 5th son of Kaneshige and I was hoping it was the same family just the elder Kimura brother and not getting them confused with another smith. c2tcardin Posted July 3, 2016 Author Report Posted July 3, 2016 Typo, Kanehiro Kimura was the 4th son of Kaneshige not the 5th. Quote
