    First, I am not looking for an appraisal! I have read the forum rules and understand them. I am a new collector, and stumbled across, what I believe, to be an authentic, old, Japanese Sword. Being very new to sword collecting I was just hoping for some basic information on this sword so I may begin to research its history and proper care.
