Wilksclan Posted April 13, 2011 Author Report Posted April 13, 2011 Ok....spoke too soon, any info on this maker? What would be the best resource to research? Quote
george trotter Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 There is very little information on these Seki WWII swordmakers (about 200 or so) as the vast majority were not classically trained makers. Click on the "links" above here, click on "Jinsoo Kim - JP swords"...he has a list called Japanese swordsmiths ranking....go down to "Seki Kaji tosho". Your guy is Kanekiyo...real name Nagamura Kiyosaburo and he started as a maker in Seki on 26 Oct 1939. Regards, Geo. Quote
