Here is a brief description and measurements followed by pictures.

 

Ha-watari/nagasa: 50.2cm

Nakago: 13.5cm

 

sori 1.7 com

 

kasane: motokisane 7mm sakikisane 4mm

 

mihaba: motohaba 28mm sakihaba 19mm

 

kissaki: 31mm

 

Description:

 

tori zori

 

kissaki: chu kissaki (slighlty exagerated)

 

fukura: rounded

 

mune: iori

 

shinogi: low?

 

nakago: ubu iryama-gata?

 

yakidashi

Howdy chris! haven't seen you around for awhile. it was a pleasure talking to you a few weeks back. Iam trying to get all my swords prepped in anticipation of you putting together a shinsa this year! How goes the house?

I don't have time to get out this way very often!

Shinsa will probably be next year.....

 

House is slow but steady....

 

Difficult for me to see the boshi clearly but in any case a jizo boshi is also midare-komi ;) ......

LOL. well I was talking to him in PM and on the phone this week, and he told me to post the questions here so we could all learn fom his expertise. I even told him I don't want too, people might think I don't believe you or am not listening LOL. But he assured me it is better to post the quuestions here, so all people see the answers and we all have a chance to learn.
