Up for offer is an extremely large (95 x 95mm) and impressive Myochin tsuba. Some tsuba-ko replicate the image of a kabuto, but this one is made in the style of a suji-bachi kabuto, consisting of 25 individual plates of iron, containing 50 rivets. The size and technique give this a dominating presence amongst other tsuba and would be the central point of an iron tsuba collection. An Akita Shoami coiled-dragon tsuba is given for comparison (and not for sale). It also comes in an unusually large deluxe box.
