JackFrost Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 Finally plunging the depths of Nihonto. My main focus has been rifles and with my collection being mostly complete, it feels wrong to be lacking any sword to pair with all my daggers, pistols and rifles. My budget is at most 4k for a Traditional Nihonto Katana, I could possibly add more depending on papers and the right conditions. (This is a long shot, but would love something from the Murata family, or even a Muratato forged one, but okay with other options that have a rich age or history to them) I am also looking for either an early wartime or pre wartime Kai Gunto or a Shin Gunto, Hand forged and with officer tassel if possible. Budget for these would possibly be closer to 1.5-2.5k I am extremely new to this so please bear with me for any clarifications or questions as I ask to better understand and try to use the proper names for each traditional part. Thank you for taking a look! Quote
JackFrost Posted May 3 Author Report Posted May 3 Thank you for the heads up Marcin! Sadly the only one I see is the Shin Gunto by Oli, and that's a bit more than I wish to spend for a Gunto on top of what would be additional import fees. Quote
JackFrost Posted Saturday at 12:15 AM Author Report Posted Saturday at 12:15 AM Minor clarification; I would prefer the Traditional Nihonto with Koshirae if possible. Quote
