The 3rd kanji looks different, but I think the inscription shows this poem. 吹毛匣裡冷光寒 – An excellent sword which could cut a blown (flying) hair will radiate a spiritual power, even if it is stored in a box. 外道天魔皆拱手 – Both fiends and demons stay away with folded arms.
