Shuko Posted April 6, 2023 Report Posted April 6, 2023 After any tanto made before Taisho era (1912). Can be mumei, with or without saya and/or koshirae. Urumu (a sword in need of polishing) is ok and can be just a bare blade. Kizu - most ok except broken or reshaped kissaki, tsuki-no-wa and hagarami. I expect older blades to have some damage and modest to medium kizu. If you have any cheap tanto orphans that don't fit your high end Nihonto collection please let me know. Tanto can be any length and shape. Thanks
