NickC
I recently purchased this sword signed Yamato Daijo Fujiwara Masanori. I see that there is 2 generations of this smith. One early 1600’s and one late 1600’s. What’s your opinion on which generation or is it gimei. All opinions are welcome. I understand the sword isn’t in the best shape of its life. It appears someone went at it with a buffing tool or something. Thank you https://imgur.com/a/Z2nrerl
Jacques D.
From what i can see hamon doesn't match the shodai, mei too. Probably a work of the nidai, I don't think it's gimei
