Inner notes inside a kiribako tsuba box

Hello gentlemen,

 

Several months ago, I bought a tsuba on Buyee and the box's lid contains long handwritten notes. I was wondering if someone could translate them. Thank you very much for your help :)

Sweet. :)
The lid looks like a quote from somewhere, carefully copied out, discussing the 柏　柏木　Kashi/Kashiwa/Kashiwagi oak’s distribution and hardness, and its leaves and acorns, and various usages and meanings associated with this fairly popular motif.
