Thanks Dale,

 

After reading about Namban tsuba I can clearly see two dragons chasing a gem and the dragons are embedded in arabesque.

Bit confused about Chinese/Japanese origins but I've only just started to learn about nanban tsuba so give it time.

That's  really nice koshirae, the texturing of the iron and gold detailing it very pleasant.  It does qualify as handachi though in  rather refined form compared to the usual.  The menuki, I think, are kylin and there is a lot of information here, https://www.mandarinmansion.com/article/nanban-tsuba about Namban tsuba.  Your tsuba references the theme discussed here,
