Muromachi period Wakizashi. Need help

Hi All

 

I am hoping someone can help. I have an O-Wakizashi staying with me. I have registration papers for it that state the smith was a Nagamitsu of the Muromachi period. 

I understand there were many smiths called Nagamitsu but I wondered if the signature allowed for narrowing down the date?

I would be very happy if anyone could help.
