Not following you. Nothing new there. What theme?
Remember, themes are custom things designed by external people and can change just about anything. I really like some of the news ones, but have no idea who has tried what and if they like them.
I really like the 2 new ones.
A few comments mentioning things I cannot duplicate or that haven't changed.

So im back to default and everything is bright. So you know i just barely got used to the last overhaul. 

Dont understand if we want to save bandwidth why include first few lines of post before we open + the emos...going down a rabbit hole here so i better STFU.

Least i didn't lose 5k of post count like last two times!!!

You were on Chameleon Dark theme.
There was a new version released (Just an update) but it wouldn't let me update. I had to delete it (putting those guys back to default) and then install it as a new theme.
Just change your theme back to Chameleon Dark. Or one of the other new ones.
Plus you can change colours and a few other things.

Minor problem, but new software still won't hold toggle for sections not wanted. Can live with it, just minor annoyance.

I get the same problem as Barry,  before when I clicked on the « Unread content », I went directly to the last unread posts of a topic, now I go to the first page, first post.

Click on your profile, and then account settings.
Left side --> Content View Behavior.
You can set what opens anytime you click on a topic.
Sorted?
