Seen a marine mount (what i call them) for sale by Ray. Asking, was told a Gassan Katsukiyo. 

Looking him up on e sword  it dint show more than just him no connection to Gassan Teacher.

So next best or should i say first best reference.

I also often Google a smith, to find out the first and best links are from here. 14/15+ Years sure does build up a lot of references.

There are also many results not readily indexed by google, often better to use the forum search first.

I agree with Stephen...We are lucky to have NMB...many thanks to Brian and to the members who continually contribute to our knowledge bank and who help new collectors learn.

I agree that NMB is a very large reference now.  I have found that I can find threads in NMB easier using Google than the internal search though, especially if I can remember something about the thread.
