Hello , any idea on maker/ date on this tsuba , iron with wheat sheaf's and foliage in gilt and possibly silver accents  - bird of prey hovering with gilt beak, obversestream with gilt accented foliage.

Copper habaki (is it wind or clouds & rain/ catscratch?)

 Any help appreciated20210623_133028.thumb.jpg.e96711f105d14949067cdde581eed9fd.jpg20210623_133055.thumb.jpg.439ff021926d7b14926ac79284f7c1e5.jpg

Phil,

it is difficult to see details on your photos. I don't see wheat sheaves and birds. It would perhaps be a good idea to dismount the TSUBA and make new photos. In any case, it looks like an AIZU SHOAMI TSUBA, probably from mid-EDO JIDAI.

The HABAKI is nice, NEKO-GAKI in combination with 'clouds' do indeed give an impression of rain.
