PNSSHOGUN Posted June 4, 2021 Report Share Posted June 4, 2021 I do not believe there is a specific type of Sarute for the Kai Gunto, they seem to use similar types to the Shin Gunto with the only difference being colour/plating styles. And, yes, I've learned that the braided cord sarute was not uncommon for the Type 97. So, here's my cost-effective solution ($2.99 USD - with plenty of cord left if needed for future Kai Guntos - thank you Hobby Lobby!). I'm quite satisfied with the look.
