The mounts are in very nice condition and retain the remnants of an early style company grade tassel. The fittings all have "7" on them. The blade *was* a nice Shin-Shinto/Meiji era Mumei piece that has unfortunately been amateur polished. There is a nice regular Gunome Hamon virtually impossible to capture on camera, there are no forging flaws visible.
