The shinogi is closer to the mune like the yamashiro school.
The nakago looks like funa-gata.

the photos do not help a lot. But if this is a MEI on the NAKAGO, it is on the wrong side, I think.

I’m thinking NAGAMORI SAKU but agreed this is a poor gimei.
