For someone who has an interest in Soshu-den works, this is an extremely enjoyable sword to study. It is an o-suriage wakizashi which appears to be a Nanbokucho-period naginatanaoshi.  The bo-hi appear to be ato-bori, and the upper portion of the blade is ubu (ie. the kaeri is intact).
