Ford Hallam - Thanks!

Here's some before/after photos of work that Ford has done for me over the years, for which I am eternally grateful. We are indeed lucky to have this world class artisan to help us. (I used Tamiya masking tape to firmly secure the kogatana in the kozuka, easy to use and easy to remove without leaving any residue).

I always use Richard Adams for repatination and recommend you use him in the future: edandemm@aol.com

On the topic of Ford, whatever happened to the book on Japanese Metalwork which he proposed in 2014?

I'm on the fence as to whether this new look is indeed what the artist originally anticipated.

I would imagine that he knew what form of aged degradation might occur with the materials he used.

Without trying to be too controversial as I know fords an absolute artisan I think I personally prefer the more aged look to shiny new.
