Ray Singer
Listing a massively healthy and wonderful naginatanaoshi which the NTHK has attributed to Bizen Tadamitsu. The sword has a substantial weight, with a kasane of over 8mm and the ji is completely flawless. The jihada is a fine ko-itame with ji-nie and utsuri. The hamon ranges from a gonome choji in the lower to a very wide gonome midare in the monouchi. The sugata is quite beautiful, and this was originally a much longer naginata in addition to being osuriage. In shirasaya with a gold and silver foil habaki. Nagasa: 45.4cm Motohaba: 2.8cm Sakihaba: 2.2cm Kasane: 0.85cm $6,500 (plus shipping and PayPal).
