Pole arm Hoko

Could this be a Hoko Yari or some form of Jumonji Yjari / Magari Yari, grateful if anyone knows where to look for answers.

For what it's worth; I checked out a book (Nihon no Mei Yari Ten), about yari I have laying around but this type isn't in it. Thank you for sharing.

It looks like for instance a fireman's hook, a sort of tool more than a weapon.

Looks more like a type of Chinese Ji (Gik) 戟, there are a few variations of double pointed spears This would be pronounced Hoko in Japanese, although I don't think Japanese made. John

Hii All

Can it be a Tsuki Nari Yari?

Tsuki Nari Yarin has had different shapes, from a simple double-edged and flat blade, to a triangular cross ...

What time period can it be........
