Two Tanegashimas

Up for sale are two tanegashimas.  The first is a matchlock, the other is a percussion.  The matchlock is $1300 and the percussion is $900.  Make an offer if I am out of line on the price.

The matchlock is complete except for the ramrod.  The ramrod is broken off and missing the breech end, leaving only about 18" of the end displayed.  The Mei is not legible closest to the breech.

The percussion gun is shorter than the other.  No ramrod.  No Mei on barrel.  It is fancier with the escutcheons are small flowers and there are engraved/chased brass inlays on the gun.  But, the escutcheons are on the gun with no apparent purpose.  When I attempted to disassemble it, I could not get the pins to knock out.  I thought they might be bamboo as some have suggested.  With that thought, I used a pin vise and drill to clear the pins.  Once three of the four were drilled and I encountered metal (the barrel) on the most rearward escutcheon, I tried to lift out the barrel.  It lifted right out.  Evidently (to me), there must have been a barrel band at some point.  I don't know.

Here are some pics of the guns:
