already discussed on your other post , sorry as previously said both fakes, it maybe not  the answer you were looking for   !!      if you have purchased this as a authentic Japanese sword , I would ask for a refund .

Nonetheless, Ed’s advice is a sound one. Read, read, read. It cannot be repeated enough. Then watch, and then, only then, buy!

 

it will prevent you from doing the mistake most of us have done (I plead guilty, though my first purchase was still a genuine Seki Showato blade). Sadly, it’s in the nature of man to be impatient! :)
