Timeline of this blade:

-Acquired by me from Ricecracker

-Originally signed "Sa", accompanied by Honamu Choshiki sayagaki attributing to Chikuzen Sa, and accompanied by some false documents claiming ownership by x2 famous samurai. These were verified false by a scholar at Princeton.

-Assumed gimei by advice of Benson.

-Mei removed by my order.

-Shiage by Benson.

-Passed Hozon to early Hirado Sa school, and probably a mistake to remove mei prior to shinsa, but anyhow...

-Changed hands to another owner who had listed it for a time with Nihontoantiques, whose photos I have "borrowed" -> came back to me some time ago.

-I have better plans for the money so it now needs a new home. ????

Long story short,

Here we are with a nice small Hirado-Sa blade, early in the school per Hozon, no signature, still has sayagaki (which may or may not be correct depending on who you ask), and which may or may not be able to paper to a better attribution in the future depending on what shinsa you submit to.

That right there is the most honesty you will ever get out a person selling a sword. ????

Asking $1900

Open to offers. If you like what you see feel free to make an offer...

At my asking price will ship anywhere in the world on me, with tracking, but once it leaves the USA I'm not responsible for it.
