They are trying to be very careful, and not say that you have a $100,000-$400,000 sword. But what they are hinting at is that you may. You have something very exciting there, and you should be very selective on who you bring it to for polishing. 

I understand, it is hard for me as this is not one of my hobbies. I only know that my grandpa brought it back after fighting. I do not know any info about these types of swords. Like i said earlier, once I graduate college, I will be able to have some work done on it. Others have told me to only take it to a trained Japanese swordsmith, in about a year or so I will be able to. I will message on here where to send it when i get to that point. One guy said on youtube that he can help me. I dont know about anything, so i would need to message here and get others opinions before i do something. Thanks for your message.
