TheGermanBastard Posted February 17, 2018 Report Posted February 17, 2018 Hello, I wonder if anybody of you has used a European based Shirasaya maker who does top notch work? I have been getting most of my Shirasayas made in the USA so far but it would be nice to be able to use somebody within Europe, too. Thank you for your recommendations. Quote

TheGermanBastard Posted February 20, 2018 Author Report Posted February 20, 2018 Hello Patrick, thank you very much. Can you please send me the link to his website? I think I may have met him many years ago but I am not sure. A martial arts teacher named Girogio had been visiting me twice with his daughter to look at sword. he was from Modena. I think this may have been Giorgio Movilli but I am not certain. Quote

zanilu Posted November 1 Report Posted November 1 I may suggest Giorgio Movilli. He did a top notch work for my Yoshihara for both shirasaya and koshirae. You can see his works at http://www.Japanese-sword.it/ Among the examples you can also find my sword. Regards Luca 1 Quote
