Hi Brian,

I`ve just changed to new forum. First time I had an background in grey levels and red frame color. Really nice. But second time I opened up, there are white background and bluish frames What happens

I have the same thing. Also, I can't find any way to access my profile or settings from my user control panel.

After your in user control ..go to board pref..you should find your way around after that if not send me a PM and ill do a walk thru, be sure when you select your pref not to scroll if its highlighted as the scrolling will change the pref.

As Stephen said, it is in the style/theme you have it set on.

The one with horizontal pinstripes is the default and called "Nihonto" theme. Then there is also Subsilver, prosilver2 and BlackSoul.

In your profile you can go to board preferences, and change your default theme.

If you get stuck on a theme where you can't see the tabs on top to change to board preferences, then see this thread: http://www.militaria.co.za/nihontomessa ... c&start=15 for info on how to change it.

 

Btw....to view the other styles, you can use this url too: http://www.nihontomessageboard.com/nmb/ ... hp?style=1

Change that last number from 1 to 4 to preview the 4 styles. Choose the one you want, and set it in your profile.

I think I am just daft, but my user control panel only gives me the option of managing drafts, bookmarks, subscriptions and attachments. I can't see any link to click which will allow me to do anything else. I have a screen capture of my 'front page' if anyone wants to see.
