unquestionable the best workmanship here in this group Ed!

Yepp- Showa in mine eyes,too!

These had ben a nice and very suiting addition to the Van Hams Naotane sword in last auction!

very nice and rare theme definitely! (as a pair of menuki per se !)- even if Showa...

congratulations Florian!

( me here, i would keep them if collecting menuki !)

Thank you Christian for your reply !

Exactly, the workmanship of these Menuki is really nice and the snake theme is very rare. It's for these reasons I bought it in Japan early this year.

An interesting addition for all serious Menuki collectors, I think.

Dear Florian :)

yes! well done!

they do seem me close in workmanship and quality hands ( of execution) to mine Tabako-Ire-Knob - "Dragon with Ken" in clouds...

maybe same school here...?

(i did already post some pics here on board...do but not remember me where i did post these pictures...so do just browse if you like and do have the passion to find them...)

those "sneaky snakes" are great, very vivid and equally charming in their´s execution!.... ;-)! i do really like them!!!!

do send me a PM if you actually do not see/remind the mine Ken grapping dragon...
