Hi Stephen.,

I'm with you and Michael on this.

"Kayama Yagoro was a bureaucrat of the Japanese Government
which accompanied Nicolai Ⅱ when Nicolai visited Japan during his south east Asia tour when an assassination attempt was made."

There is no firm link to the sword and the incident as far as I can make out from the information thus far supplied.

Interesting Habaki.

Hi Stephen.,

I reckon the point of the story is a link to the man Kayama Yagoro , not necessarily the sword.

"Kayama Yagoro was a bureaucrat of the Japanese Government

which accompanied Nicolai Ⅱ when Nicolai visited Japan during his south east Asia tour when an assassination attempt was made."

Malcolm,

I felt there is a strong connection to the Tzar as the bureacurat was standing next to the Tzar when the incident took place.

In Russia today the Romanovs are heralded as saints and any church you visit have altars decicated to them with candles alight. I have been on the Trans Siberian Railway six times on my way to Japan and have visited numerous church's........dont like flying so go to Japan overland from UK.

The bureacuray was also portrayed in a Japanese Kabuki play about the incident.

I hope I have not misled anybody by my title but do feel thre is a connection......if admin feels there is deception in my post then I shall remove it.

Apologizes to those who have felt misled.

Regards....Tony

Interesting Habaki.
