For Sale : Nobushige Katana Nbthk + Koshirae

Dear members,

 

Big Katana signed Kofu Ju Minamoto Nobushige Zo, and dated Keio Gannen 8 gatuhi.

Shinshinto period (1864), Musashi province.

Nobushige was making swords under the Yushima Tenjin and he was probably influenced by the famous Suishinshi Masahide.

 

This Katana is big and massive, with a Niedeki Kogunome midare Hamon, and a ko itame mixed masame Hada with Ji nie.
Japanese polishing in excellent condition.
Sold with a Shirasaya and a complete Koshirae with two Saya, the original in good condition (despite missing a few pieces of lacquer on one side), and a modern Japanese Saya in perfect condition.

 

NBTHK Hozon.
Fujishiro rank = Chujosaku

 

Dimensions :
Nagasa = 76,4 cm
Sori = 1,8 cm
Motohaba = 3,39 cm
Kasane = 0,71 cm

Yes, it's really a great deal. The seller bought it 830 000 yen in Japan a few years ago  (bill for proof).

He needs money and hopes a quick sale. That's why he sells it at a price sold off...

Best and last reduced price before returning the sword to its owner (it's a sword in consignment ) : 4900 € + shipping !

For reminder, this sword was bought 830,000 yen a few years ago in Japan ! (As proof a purchase invoice from the shop Aoi Art)
