I would suggest that some of you pester Kinokuniya bookstore. They have branches across America. They specialise in books Japanese. Apparently the Singapore Kinokuniya branch is going to have some initially, and it is going to be available in the various airports bookstores in Japan.

I would appreciate knowing this as well.  I've called Singapore K and they have confirmed they are not getting this book or no longer have it.

 

Whoever, you spoke to doesn't know what they are talking about. It isn't released yet, so they never had it in the first place.

Just got home with the book, picked it up at local junkudo book store.

Only had a quick glance its beautiful and Paul has done a nice job on the translation, its so nice to see a book like this with english compared to the many only in Japanese.

I just got a PayPal order from cdjapan asking for an additional $37 to cover postage (I'd paid in full weeks ago for express shipping). Pretty disappointing, I've had to change the option to 3 week delivery without tracking. Are there any other companies selling copies?

I just got the same notice from cdjapan as well - this was very surprising. Typically when a book is preordered the price and shipping are guaranteed. Very disappointing.

 

Edit to add: I cancelled my order with cdjapan just now. I think any company that does something like this is ridiculous. I was able to create a new account on Amazon Japan and ordered two copies of the book for roughly the price that cdjapan was charging with EMS shipping.

well I am thinking about ordering several off of amazon. Don't know if its worth it to resale it here for the normal price plus the domestic shipping. I figure if I get 10 and split that shipping amongst all ten then it might be cheaper but might end up being the same to all you guys.
