Hey folks. Im parting with  this blade and thought i would offer it here first.. i have not had this blade for sale yet anywhere and am only parting with it to fund another. it is a very elegant long blade. 29 inch nagasa. o-suriage, nakago is 7 inches. motokasane is 7/32 of an inch and motohaba is 1 1/8 inches. kissaki is very small and elegant and yakizume, boshi is hakikake. sori is deep and if you can picture the full length blade would have been about 35 inches and sori is in the middle towards back. has nbthk papers stating ko uda (pre1392) and several knowledgeable individuals that have held this in hand feel the date is early 1300s and quite possible earlier into late 1200s. lots of nie and nijuba very nice streaks of sunagashi, yakidashi. this blade has so much activity going on every time i view it i see something new. a very long elegant kamakura tachi. offered first time for nmb members at $4800 us dollars. includes shipping insured and tracking. i will also give a donation to the board if sold here... this sword is a beautiful piece that will not disappoint.
