Yes, Chinese and made last week.

Figured as much is the Mei even correct at all?

The mei is spelled right (Umetada Saku) but that means nothing because the tsuba is worthless.

to get a better understanding of what real tsuba are. Also history has proved he is one of the better

dealers around.

It's a fake. Just look a lot of the real ones by visiting many onlineshops on the vendor link pages or local shows and you will gain the power to distinguish whether a tosugu is fake or not.
