Mark Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 I have a small stamp that comes in a neat metal case (looks like a small pocket watch). It was brought back from WWII by a vet with a sword and other misc. Can anyone tell me what it says? Not sure if it is military or civilian. I tried to make am imprint so you can see it the right way but it is a bit blurry so I showed the actual stamp (sorry it is probably a mirror image) Thanks! Quote
k morita Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Hi, This Chinnes stamp is Europeans or Americans' name stamp. 法蘭克 is Frank. 孝而門 is XXXXman. (family name)(I don't know pronunciation of the family name). Quote
Mark Posted September 3, 2014 Author Report Posted September 3, 2014 Thank you Morita-san. interesting what ends up coming back. Quote
SwordGuyJoe Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 I've heard of Wolverine, Cyclops, Professor Xavier, etc., but I have never heard of Frank. He must be a lesser known X-Man. :D Quote
John A Stuart Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Yes, looks like Frank Schauermann. Not an uncommon name. John Quote
