I can really use some help in translating this Sayagaki. I translated it years ago but it didn't make any sense to me, so I figured my translation was off. Any help would be appreciated.

The sword in this saya is a Nakamaki-naoshi O-suriage, mumei.

The three letters 奉奇進 can be read Hokishin, (きしんたてまつる meaning celebrate a gift to a shrine).

The rest is an address with a name, and the age of a child. (Unless there is something missing from your shots.)

Hope this gets the ball rolling! :glee:

An address with a name:

熊本縣熊本市小幡町 – Kumamoto-ken Kumamoto-shi Obata(reading?)-cho

久村七蔵 – Hisamura Shichizo
