Well I would choose either a "good Stilleto" or a top quality posi-drive "sharpened" big "screw-driver"! Regards, Tony.

Hi Peter, Thank you for your coments, good to see you and the other guy's at birmingham today. But as a photographer you (as I) would make a good eye surgeon. Best Regards, Tony.
  3. Hi All, I also have a copy of Paul Marten's new poket sized book, THE Japanese SWORD Guide to Nyusatsu Kantei (Koto, Shinto dozen list) and even I can understand it. Thank you, Paul and well done. Tony Norman.
  4. Hi Peter, That is a shame, I was looking foreward to owning some papered kodogu by Christmas. Thanks to you and Paul for trying. Perhaps in the spring off 2011? Best regards, T.Norman.
  5. Hi Ian, Good to see the advert, and booking form up & running on Northern Token Society U.K. for the proposed N.T.H.K. N.P.O. Shinsa. The fact that Kodogu can be submitted is for my part great. Thank you Northern Token Society. Best regards. Tony Norman.
  6. Hi Peter, Thank you for the information regarding the "possible Shinsa" you have done well, with out advertising by our G.B. Societys I dont see how we can really "fairly" test the Waters,or Commit to something that would be very costly if not enough wanted to support this idea. Regards, Tony Norman.
  7. This post is not to " have a go" at any one individual or indeed any group. But I have yet to see anything on either of the british sword society's web site's informing their members of a possible Shinsa team in England in the Autumn of 2010. I would have thought that it should be part of the whole idea of a web site to inform the nembers of such an event Regards, Stone. (Tony)
  8. Hi All, I have been involved in both of the U.K. Shinsa's by N.T.H.K. (organised by G.Curtiss) and would be willing to do what I can for another group. I also would have a min of 3/5 peices to submit, and I am sure many of the Token Society Member's of G.B. would also be wanting to submit. For myself personally, I hope it is a runner. Regards, Stone,
  9. Hi Ray, Thank you for your post, I hope all is well with you & yours. I am going to try to make Birmingham fair in feb, be good to see Les & yourself their. Best regards, Tony.
  10. Hi all, In my opinion it is still a worthwhile book. I have to agree that many of the blades were proven to be gimie. Having restored some of the said blade's for B.W. and been bequeathed the Nobuhide plate No 23, I submitted this blade for NTHK shinsa in the U.K. It was cosidered to be by Hayama Enshin, but the jury is still out on the elaborate horimono. Regards, Tony.
  11. Hi Ford, Thank you for your welcome, I have just managed to work out how to log on. I hope to contribute more at a later date Wishing you and yours all the best. Tony. T. Norman.
  12. Sorry it should read, Wealth & depth of " knowledge" ect T.Norman.
  13. I am amazed at what "" seem's"" to be a great wealth & depth on polishing & polishers out there. I would suggest you have the best that you can afford. The best and the most expensive are not always the same thing! What a caterpillar calls the End of the World A Master calls a Butterfly R.Bach T.Norman.
