  2. Hi there, I am an new member from Poland and I am glad I found this forum. Few years ago a got a sword from my grandfather. He told me, that he had received it from his Asian friend. The friend did not want to say from what county he actually is. Grandfather dais that his friend had told people different stories: once he was from Japan, the other time he was Chinese or Korean. So I can't tall what is the country this Wakizashi kind of sword was made? Please take a look at the images and please let me know if you have any idea what it exactly is? I won't be surprise if this is just a reproduction. Thank you in advance, Piotr

  5. Hi there, I am a new member from Poland and I have a question about my Wakizashi sword. I got it from my grandfather, who received it from his friend from Asia. It has been in my family possession for many many years. I do not want to sell it (I treat it as a family's souvenir), but I would like to know is it an authentic Wakizashi or just some reproduction? Please take a look at the photos and let me know what do you think about this sword. Thank you in advance, Piotr N
