  5. Hello all, i had a question about a picture thats attached to some old NBTHK origami i have for my wakizashi. Is this common? Ive never seen a other like this so i was curious. It is attached on top of the original pencil tracing picture. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

  11. Hello all, i recently bought some wakizashi koshirae that was kicho (green NBTHK papers) I was wanting to know is it worth it for me to send in to be repapered or is it ok . I didnt buy it for the papers but wanting to know what you guys thought. From an historical standpoint, are they collectable? Thanks again

  13. Hello. I was looking to put some blades with some wakizashi koshirae i have and was wondering what was available here. I am looking for 2 blades and in the $300-$500 each for good blades. I have wooden blades in the koshirae and trying to get close to what they are. Thank you for looking. Blade 1: 51 cm Nagasa 2.8-3 cm width at habaki Sori 1.1 cm Blade 2: 41.5 cm Nagasa 3.4 cm width at habaki Sori 1 cm Let me know what you have. Thanks again
  14. @MHC , this is the the way I got it. Those are the original file marks not sandpaper or grinder. The dark spots are low spots in the steel when originally filed/shaped. I thought it looked strange when I first got it as well. Just thought it was a neat tanto as Ive never seen one like this. Again, I wished I had more info. It came from as estate sale.
