Looks like it's a pretty common name as quite a few pop up when I search soldier names.

Very nice gathering Butch, I'm jealous

I did read a few weeks ago that eBay is adjusting it's seller fees. Not sure how its going to happen though

Thank you for the responses gentlemen

I only know the location of one in a private collection in Florida. It's a beautiful wakizashi, in shirisaya though.

I'm surprised nobody has something by him. I know he didn't make that many blades but if anybody were to have 1 I would assume they'd be on this board.

Does anybody have any contact details for New Mexico token kai. It lists John Coffin as point of contact but number listed has been disconnected. If anybody has any info let me know.
Thanks in advance

That is pathetic by the seller, either list at the price originally or don't list at all

Very true, btw I read your write up about kaboku. Very informative and it's what got me so interested in him. Thanks for that, now I'm stuck looking for the impossible 😉

Does anybody on the forum own a blade by Kaboku. I would love to see some examples. A dream of mine is to own one in gunto mounts.
Thanks in advance

Just saw this item a while ago, i think it might be gimei. But looks pretty good package still. I think the koshirae is also missing the kojiri.
I don't who the seller is, just thought it looked interesting and it's quite long.
Auction ends in less than 2 hours

Thank you Jussi, always loved Finnish people. Have some friends from Hyvinkää and Numijarvi, some of the nicest people I've ever met.

I believe showato as will, probably hiding a Na stamp somewhere
-
That looks pretty right to me. Thanks George! So medium gendai Smith and low grade showato
-
Thanks Brian, appreciate it

Having the second hanger makes the outfit looks so much better. Congrats John

I'm surprised i guessed the Smith correctly on my first try. Slough has this Smith listed as being in Gifu and only making showato
