  1. I did not buy it on eBay. It was a local private sale. I know the guy though I can see where he go it. It didn’t seem right so I passed. Especially the amount of money he wanted. I know of Emura, but like a few people have stated, it didn’t look up to the standards of someone with as popular a name. The mei did look legit, based on several internet photos, but not the craftsmanship.
  2. OK cool. Thanks. It’s a signed Emura blade too. Bummer.
  3. Thanks for the responses. Is there a way to fix it?
  4. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what these black spots/holes are?
  5. I’ve purchased only one thing from him and never will again. He definitely uses some kind of eBay snipping software to drive his price up. I know cuz I tried to snipe the auction the old fashioned way. I put in a higher then appropriate bid with 10 seconds left. If someone else had pre bid high eBay would’ve told me or the winning bid amount would’ve rose but it didn’t. It declared me high bidder a penny over the current bid with 3 seconds remaining. With 1 second left the bid jumped and matched my stupid high bid but still declared me the winner anyways. Impossible without a program. Nobody could’ve executed a competing bid that fast. Not unless they were gonna over bid me and win.
  6. I own a type 98 gunto. The ray skin is splitting in a few areas. I know that I can get it re wrapped but I see that I can also buy old complete tsukas. My question is, is it a simple plug and and play going this route or is it highly unlikely that an old tsuka will fit my blade?
